Kamchatka - Yes, but the responses seemed to indicate that they might have been looking for ads in the local development build of the application, instead of a version that had been downloaded from the App Store. I know people that have done this and expected real ads to appear in the local developer or ad hoc builds they had after the application itself was approved for the App Store.

Specifically, your application description contain screenshots with empty iAd banners. It would be appropriate to remove or replace these screenshots. I'm not sure why they rejected your screenshots, because I've seen plenty of applications on the store with screenshots that contained Apple's test iAds.

You might be able to protest that in the resolution center. This action typically consists of a full-screen version of the ad, or of opening a URL on a Web browser. Handle this event to decide whether or not you want to let the action happen.

You might also want to use your handler for the OnActionCanBegin event to pause some running features of your applications, to avoid wasting processing during the ad action. Then you can define an event handler for the OnActionDidFinish event where you resume these features of your application.

This action typically consists either of a full-screen version of the ad, or of opening a URL on a Web browser. See Handling User Interaction with Ads. At any point, if your application requires your user attention, you can check if there is an ad action in progress, and you can stop this action:.

Thanks, I would think if the adview is basically javascript, it would be possible to get it's content.

I thought about programmatically taking a screenshot of the ad area and determining if it is black. When building and testing your apps, make sure you use test ads rather than live, production ads.

Failure to do so can lead to suspension of your account. It's been specially configured to return test ads for every request, and you're free to use it in your own apps while coding, testing, and debugging. Just make sure you replace it with your own ad unit ID before publishing your app.

The load method requires your ad unit ID, a GADRequest object, and a completion handler which gets called when ad loading succeeds or fails. In order to receive notifications for presentation events, you must implement the GADFullScreenContentDelegate protocol and assign it to the fullScreenContentDelegate property of the returned ad.

The GADFullScreenContentDelegate protocol handles callbacks for when the ad presents successfully or unsuccessfully, and when it is dismissed.
